CONFERENCE SPEAKER
Fr. Rob Arsenault, CC, is the Vocations and Admissions Director for the Companions of the Cross ( Ottawa, ON). He left studies in electrical engineering in order to pursue the call to the priesthood and was ordained for the Archdiocese of Kingston, ON, in 1994. He ended up, however, serving the Archdiocese of Halifax, NS, where he served as the diocesan Vocations Director and chaplain at Dalhousie and St. Mary’s Universities. His interest in parish renewal and community led him to the Companions of the Cross in 2005, and he made his final promises with the order in 2011.
Please note: Bishop Scott McCaig, CC, was originally announced as the speaker for this conference, but had to cancel due to other commitments that arose.
ABOUT THE COMPANIONS OF THE CROSS
The Companions of the Cross, based in Ottawa, ON, was founded in 1985 by Rev. Robert Bedard, CC. In 2003 we were established as a Society of Apostolic Life. “We are a Roman Catholic community of priests committed to living and ministering together as brothers in the Lord. God has called us to labour boldly for the renewal of the Church through a dynamic evangelization centered upon Christ crucified, who is God’s power and wisdom. Spurred on by the love of God, we desire all people to come into the fullness of life through a personal and ongoing encounter with Jesus Christ.” Find out more at www.companionscross.org
