Commissioning is a blessing of the students by our Bishop, as a sacred gesture of their having completed the Nine Month Faith Formation Program of St. Therese Institute’s School of Faith and Mission and their being “sent out” to carry the Gospel into the marketplace of their lives. Following the blessing, the students are presented with a
Diploma of Catholic Studies for the Lay Apostolate.

Commissioning Mass – 2:00 pm
Most Rev. Mark Hagemoen, Bishop, Diocese of Saskatoon (main celebrant)
at St. Bruno Parish, 700 Kirby St. (behind St. Therese)
Banquet & Program – 5:00 pm
at Bruno Community Hall, 513 Kirby St.
Ticket required, available for purchase until May 3.
Family Dance with live music by The Trudel Family
to follow at St. Therese Institute – Gymnasium
Admission by donation.

Continental Breakfast: $5/person (adults and children 11+; 10 & under free)

Commissioning Banquet: $30/person, $10/child (5-10 years; 4 and under free)
Sunday, May 19:
Brunch: $8/person (adults and children 11+; 10 & under free)

There are approximately 40 Guest Rooms are available at St. Therese Institute. Advance reservation by phone is required — 306-369-2555. Please book early to ensure availability.
Suggested Donation for Accommodations @ St. Therese:
