ONE-HUNDRED YEARS OF HISTORY
— reduced to quick 1-minute read —
Abbot Ordinary Michael Ott, OSB, blessed the newly completed Ursulines of Bruno motherhouse. The ribbon was cut, and the facility officially declared open.
The Ursuline Convent would become St. Ursula’s Academy in 1922 and be expanded several times over the next 60 years. The Academy graduated her last class in 1982 and changed its name to the Ursuline Center. The sisters eventually moved away from Bruno and the facility was leased to the University of Saskatchewan between 1999-2004.
In 2007, the facility became the home of the newly-founded St. Therese Institute of Faith and Mission.
One century later… November 9, 2019
The foundation of Catholic formation & education remains the same.
Join us to celebrate, exactly 100 years to-the-day!
